While the liftie that had only been supervising the top of the lift for maybe an hour, he had already became sleepy in the lift shack. His eyelids continued to drop as the warmness of the shack tried to put him asleep. He gazed out the window and tried to keep his mind busy on this uncharacteristically slow morning. His eyes migrated to the spokes of the bullwheel that cast a spinning shadow on the perfect white blanket of snow that lay on the roped off section below the unload station of the ski lift. Empty chair after empty chair flew silently over the unload zone and back around the bullwheel to start its journey back down the hill. Sparkl
